The homestead “Vienkiemis” started its activities and welcomed its first guests in 1995. Initially, there was a café, 8 rooms, and two baths for the guests. As the number of visitors increased, the homestead expanded to include a tavern, two additional baths, and 9 rest cabins. Furthermore, an ancient barn and forge from the ethnographic village of Jakštaičiai were relocated and reconstructed on the premises. The ancient barn is estimated to be approximately 195 years old.
